I am Tommie English, founder of Authententional Coaching and my mission is to empower and to help companies, groups, organizations and individuals live a more authentic and intentional life and to acquire more personal and professional success.
From the Plantation to Building Foundation
I am the 9th child of 12 children and I credit being from a big family as part of my love for people and my need to ensure everyone has a voice and has dreams that can become a reality. My father was a farmer and my mother was a maid and I was raised on a plantation. Neither of my parents went past the 6th grade. But they raised 12 children, bought their own home and enabled seven of their children to attend college. My testament is that your past does not have to dictate your future.
I have over 25 years of Leadership experience having worked for a fortune 500 financial services company and in the non-profit sector as a senior operations and people leader. I have led operations for over 1000 employees and have led, coached, mentored and developed hundreds of leaders globally. I have championed and led multiple initiatives to drive diversity and inclusion within organizations and have helped leaders to become more authentic, intentional and results oriented.
